>Main game has a younger protagonist that fits the narrative of the story GameFreak is trying to tell
>Online mode is styled after “Battle Revolution” (with GTS, Wonder Trade, etc of course) and allows for a fully customizable trainer based off of the several already modelled Trainer Class (plus protagonist) presets like Hikers, Veterans, Ace Trainers etc.
>Skin, hair, facial features and eye color options for every reasonable preset along with height and weight sliders (these sliders are up in the air considering how every preset is varied as it is)
>Clothing, stances and hair styles are unlocked through game play and events, and some inclusions can be classic Evil Teams and even Gym Leaders and Elite Four members. Stuff like the GO outfits and Anime clothing can be purely event based.
>Titles are based off of achievement style accolades in the game itself (think of those medals from BW2). Lets say you want the title of “Fisherman”, you’d have to fish enough in the game to unlock it. A master fisherman title could be something like “Fishing Guru” when you get high enough up there and that title can be used online for your customizable avatar
This can be 100% done because it was done 10 years ago on the wii. We’re in the console age of the games now, and they openly listen to feedback. Having a customizable online avatar would erase the need for extra modelling for running/riding/gameplay shit and would use the already modelled trainer classes just with customization. THIS NEEDS TO BE A THING AND THEY’LL DO IT IF ENOUGH PEOPLE CARE. This way everyones happy, people who like the story and set protags get that, people who always wanted their own trainer get that, and GameFreak rolls in more money because they actually tried.
>Unreasonable Extra: Have Bank/another kind of legacy system keep track of your achievements and online avatar for each game so you can carry over your data to the next game
