Aesthetically? It depends on you anon. Me personally I like the black Charizard Y.

Competitively, it depends on what format you use the most. Charizard-Y is great in Doubles with Healthy MetaLandorus-T. In Singles or Battle Spot Singles, Charizard-X can sweep through teams once it's threats are gone.

I like Shiny Y because it looks like Shiny Base Charizard. Shiny X should have either been colored like a regular Charizard or kept the shiny color scheme and had red instead of blue

It's not that hard to breed a 6IV Charmander with Dragon Dance and Flare Blitz.

>Just go on the ditto subreddit and request a 6IV ditto.
>Find a male Jangmo-o, Dragonite, Altaria, Seadra, Dragonair, Axew, etc. and level it up to learn Dragon Dance.
>Get an Alolan Marowak or Male Charizard and level it up to learn Flare Bltiz
>Go on GTS or the pokemon trade subreddit and ask for a female charmander.
>Breed the female charmander until you have both egg moves
>Breed out the bad IVs with the 6IV ditto
>Once you have the bad IVs out. Breed out 30 charmander eggs and put them in your PC
>Go to the SVExchange subreddit and ask for someone to check your box of eggs in your PC
>Once the checker gives you the information back on the IVs of the 30 eggs. Check to see if any of them eggs have 5 or 6IVs
>Finally, once you have an egg that has 5 or 6IVs with the two egg moves look at it's TSVs and go back on SVExchange subreddit and search for the matching TSV user of your egg
>Contact the person with your egg's matching TSV. Send the egg to the user. They hatch it as a shiny and return it back to you.

See that's simple. . . nah, fuck that. Inject. I did that process too many times and I got sick of it.

Wow, okay Verlisfyfag. Using racial slurs when you can't argue against the tedious process of getting your 5IV or 6IV Shiny Charmander.

I literally walked you through each step. So, I forgot Charizard learns flare blitz naturally. Still doesn't disprove my point. Save yourself the trouble and just inject. It can take you days(1-4days) for someone on SVexchange to hatch your egg. Just inject and move about your day.
