Not as confident on gen 5 but yeah I think the level of comfy was just perfect enough and everything meshed well together within their own regions. Then again nostalgia also has to do with my feelings on 3 and 4 just because those games were my favorites since I could just play them all the time

That was Johto, not RS. RS showed that the series had staying power and that Gamefreak didn’t have to change much to keep churning out money.
