That'd be nice. They could each have their own 'Distortion' World that you enter from Spear Pillar. There you could see Dialga or Palkia in their Origin Forme. Post game could have some cool shit like catching Ultra Beasts and a Battle Facility with trainers from other dimensions. Wild battles could have special effects as well, like perma-Gravity, Trick Room or Inverse Battles and exclusive Pokémon.

Absolutely destroys the entire meta. Any counter Palkia had on either side of the aisle is rendered useless. Unless you mean:

>Physical moved are calculated with Special Defense

So that way, at the VERY least, shit that focuses on one stat aren't wholly fucked. Their damage is still calculated off the appropriate Attacking stat, but damage dealt is based on the opposite Defensive stat

Red had Bulbasaur in every artwork and media except Origins and Zensho.

Rowlet being Sun's starter is strongly hinted with Kukui having it and even fitting the theme with Masked Royal for being a wrestler Pokemon.

But the most recent incarnation of Red has all 3 starters, and going by artwork, last time Sun was shown he had an Incineroar.
Nothing is really canon in Pokémon, so follow your dreams.

The point still stands though, you don’t have to base your team around what Red has, I AM arguing against canon teams here.
Anime (and manga for that matter) is separate from the game, Lana has a Popplio, which is impossible in game.
