>>36202635You really don't. Plenty of top tier threats in several different games have the top tier characters be usefully in multiple situations, instead of just being the best at 1 thing. Like Necrozma-DM is S-Rank, but isn't the best set up swapper, wall, or wall break, but it can do a bunch of that and threatens things like Xerneas.
Similarly, Landorus-T isn't the best Set Up sweeper, the best at tanking hits as a pivot, the best choice user, or the best at setting hazards, Landorus-T can still do all that stuff and is S rank since he can do it all, but not the best at those things individually.
