Let's Go! removing wild battle isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Assuming the method of grinding is Trainer rematches, they are much better than regular wild battles because of better variety of Pokémon to fight against and more EXP, not to mention money. Fighting wild Pokémon usually give a little EXP and nothing else anyway.
