None of the routes had any substance or size to them, you just went from point A to B to do a trial and then you've walked around 90% of an island and onto the next
Whenever you did get to go off the beaten path like to the Recyc;ing Center in Malie City it was for maybe two minutes and a completely shallow waste of time
The games are feeling less and less like journeys and adventures, and I'm not a genwunner nor am I blinded by nostalgia. Gen 5 is my favourite gen and Gen 7 was such a disappointment.
