HMs are fuckingn cancer and Im glad they are gone. Just because they are old relics of past RPGs doesn’t mean they are good mechanics. Prove me wrong, you can’t unless you unironically want the following moves on your Pokemon
>tackle, sand attack, karate chop, wrap, sky attack, body slam
Cut, Flash, Rock Smash, whirlpool, fly and strength beong moves only exist to waste a move slot on your in game Pokemon. If every HM was surf/waterfall tier no one would have minded them.
