Let's try to build the best teams for each game. The purpose is simple: build the best teams to get you through the game. Then we critique each other's suggestions. The following things needs to be taken into account:

>how members fare against gym leaders, rivals, elite 4, evil teams and other important trainers
>HM needs
>no egg moves and ditch tutor moves not available before the post-game
>they have to be reasonably obtainable
>ditch legends
>no breezing through half the games with only one poke

You can also add your own requirements, like excluding trade evolutions, not keeping vs keeping the starter etc.
