1. What are the top three Pokémon of the first three generations overall?

I honestly don't know. Gen 1's meta is so radically different from the rest that it would be bordering on unviable if it was possible.

Thanks, I was thinking more along the lines of the combined top 3 for the three generations as a whole. Snorlax is obvious, but the other two are not.

Things like Gengar, Zapdos and Starmie are all better options than Tyranitar, by virtue of having existed in Gen 1.

Tyranitar is great in Gen 3 and good in Gen 2, but not to the point where it justifies being nonexistent in Gen 1.
