If the setting is inspired by someplace outside of Japan, please, no more cultural oversaturation. All the constant reminders of France and Hawaii in Kalos and Alola made me want to vomit (that gay little hands rainbow greeting in SM was the worst offender).

All the Kalosian NPCs were vain assholes, and all the Alolan ones were braindead mongs. What the fuck kind of people did Masuda interact with on his study trips?

I want the next pokemon game to be set in a landlocked region of mountain ridges, valleys, rivers and pine forests. I want the Pokemon to be larger and more feral, and maybe feral forms of previous Pokemon? A bigger emphasis on the circle of life and an acknowledgement that your companion Pokemon is a necessity to protect yourself in the wild.

Nordic mythology, Slavic mythology or other European folklore. I'd really like a mostly ice cold region no matter where its set. As for a visual aesthetic I think I'd like a European Gothic one.

I kind of want more legends like Mewtwo for box legends. We have enough deity-like box legendaries like Palkia/Dialga/Groudon/Kyogre that I wouldn't mind them toning down the scope of what a legendary Pokemon can do.

I really don't wan't legends along the lines of gen 3 and 4, their already enough for what we have.

I kinda wan't legends around the lines of Lugia and Ho-oh or the 3 legendary beast in power, and not make the story focus so much on them. Legends don't need to be fucking gods to make the plot engaging.

Futuristic Setting, Flying Cars(Main City like the one from Star Wars 2, Underground Citys(pokemon colloseum), Wormhole Travel to important Citys or Places of previous Regions(doesnt have to be the entire region for exaple mount lanakila or battle frontier of Hoenn), Timtravel with Celebi and if you alter something in te Past it triggers Events or Pokemon Encounters in the Future, Battle Frontier Island
