Birds descended from dinosaurs, a group who's definition in science cannot be evolved from. Dinosaur is an umbrella group called a Clade, which means that all animals descended from dinosaurs are referred to as dinosaurs by those who actually study them.
Humans evolved from apes, ape is also an umbrella term referring to everything descending from the group, so humans are indeed apes.
It's not a matter of physical features, but definition.
Saying "Birds are dinosaurs" isn't saying "Apes are humans", it's saying "Humans are apes". Only it's even more precise since there's not a single physical feature birds introduce which dinosaurs didn't already have since the mid Jurassic.
There isn't even a chronological way to split birds from dinosaurs, the oldest birds are far older than every single famous dinosaur, meaning that a robin is a more primitive example of a dinosaur than a Tyrannosaurus. They emerged from dinosauria far earlier than the average person usually understands
Please just look at any article, literally any paper on bird evolution, this isn't even debated and hasn't been for decades
