Which is strange because I've never been a fan of the "possessed sword with an eye" cliché.
I guess I like how GF did it this time. Normally the eye seems to be a mutation/alien part on the possessed sword, but here it appears to be part of the sword's design.
That plus the nice fabric-like arms and the fact that they carry their own shield gives it a lot of personality and makes it seem like it's a complete being, instead of a cursed unnatural apparition like the trope is normally portrayed.
Also, one bit of trivia that I love about it is the pose it makes in Pokken when it summons a support mon.
Pic related: fist over the chest and shield behind its back. It's the pose knights do in a lot of different settings when they stand in front of the royalty they serve.
I love the implications of that.
