I wasn't a fan of it until I saw it in motion, esecially it having a mouth.

All mechanical/inorganic Pokémon translated nicely into 3D. It's the animal-based ones that can come across weird because 3D highlights how strange, inconsistent, and toylike Pokémon body construction is.

The design is was too complex for a sprite. I liked Regigigas a lot more starting with XY.

Most newer designs look better in 3D than on paper. I was fairly unimpressed with Incineroar from the leaks, but seeing it in motion really warmed me up to the design.
