DLC was mistake because it gives developers an incentive to intentionally release incomplete games, only to sell the rest later. Hell, I'd even believe that GF initially wanted to release USUM as DLC but (a) were too incompetent to do so or (b) simply figured that they'd earn more if they packaged it as a whole new game.
>>36215716Pessimism isn't fearmongering though. Also, if LGPE does well it only makes sense for GF to make their new games more like it in order to keep the new crowd they've attracted. And it also gives them an excuse to not put any effort at all into graphics anymore because they know people will buy their shitty 'cute' games anyways, even if they have slowdown (which they will, even on Switch and even with Gamecube-level graphics).
