Is it normal to feel less and less confident or even remotely sure on Gen 8's potential quality with every new thing shown on LGP/E?

Especially with them saying "Trust us on this one." I have no faith after "ULTURA CHANGERUS"

I mean you should never gve up hope but Game Freak and the Pokémon Companany's shitty decisions make it very hard to stay faithful. Currently we are in a really shitty position with both USUM and Let's Go being half-assed money machines and Pokémon 2019 getting released even later

Best case scenario: gamefreak is intentionally splitting their audience. LGPE is for casual babbys and gen 8 is for hardcore fans

Most likey scenario: gen 8 is Sun and Moon 2

After Z moves, arguably Megas, Ash Greninja, and the fucking travesty of what happened to Zygarde, not to mention all the collected minor fuck ups of Gens III-VI, I can't imagine Pokemon being anything but fucked forever.
