Giraffes are WEIRD. When the developed world discovered that giraffes existed, everyone freaked the hell out because of how this strange creature was just discovered.
The entire point of Girafarig is that it embodies weird, bizarre fauna. Being oddball and surreal is Girafarig's whole shtick.

Fuck that, all Pokemon follow basic rules of being living beings. I can look at Tauros and easily tell how its supposed to move, I can look at Tympole and see how it's supposed to move, I cannot look at Beta Girfarig and imagine how it moves because it's design is fucked up.

You are aware that normal, everyday quadrupeds are perfectly capable of walking backwards, yes? And that birds have "backwards-bending" legs? Why would it matter?
It's like Alolan Exeggutor. Designs like these are meant to make you stop and ponder a little about how this odd creature would behave. Think outside the box for a change.

I actually prefer the design we got. I don't like how it's not Normal/Dark, but that's another thing.

But I would've loved a Water/Steel Octilerry with the helmet and tank pose. Current Remoraid is fine though.
