This thread was inspired by an old comment I saw on Youtube about "Gen. V not having enough changed from Gen. IV." Anything else you guys have to add?

Ok, new region was meh, most of the 158 were fucking garbage with 2 of them being literal garbage. Some of the music was dope, and they pushed the limits in terms of graphic design. Dream World and aforementioned expected QoL changes were cool. Was Gen 5 that great though? Relatively speaking, I'll say that BW were some of the worst games, mostly because of the shitty Unova Pokémon.

I disagree. Chandelure, Kyurem, Reshiram, Zekrom, Sandile, Petilil, Oshawott, Tepig, Snivy, Volcarona, Bisharp, Emolga, Stunfisk. I like a lot of Gen. V's Pokemon. I love the vast majority of its Pokedex. Unova's linearity and roadblocks were more of an issue than its regional Pokemon.

Out of these the only ones that don't cause me to have a knee-jerk reaction are Volcarona, Sandile and Chandelure.

I would never class Gen V as my favourite gen but this is the reason we get shit like LGPE. Say what you want but goddamn you can't deny that they at least tried to mix up the most stagnant video game franchise that is not a sports game or called Call of Duty
