Was adding Pokemon, or at least so many, each generation a mistake? Game Freak now has to spend so much time and energy working on adding all of the mons instead of polishing/adding the games' mechanics and other features. And it gets worse each gen, since next gen they have to do all ~800 again plus ~100 hundred more, then ~1000 the next gen, then ~1100 the next, and so on. Isn't it gonna come to a head sooner or later? Or are they just gonna reuse models and animations until the heat death?
