It's hilariously depressing to see someone try to argue OR/AS and S/M were good based on features they didn't drop while calling X/Y, the games that implemented them, bad.
Yeah, that's obviously not how it works. The point goes to the one that started it and the follow ups simply don't lose a point for removing it if they don't.
If game A has features 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and game B comes out later and has features 2, 3, 5, and 6 game B is objectively worse.
And this is the case for Gen 7. Only worse, because some of what they did bring back were worse than the originals (Plaza = worse Join Avenue and worse Entralink and Battle Agency = worse Battle Factory, for example), so they don't even get a full point for bringing them back. LGP/LGE being even more of a mess for removing even more.
