>>36231868They should formalize what a "major battle" is and give this as a middle-ground option. Instead of just wild battles and everything else, you'd have wild battles, filler trainers that are basically just there to feed you EXP, and then major fights like gyms, rivals, and the occasional route-boss elite trainer which would have Shift off by default.
