It shuts physical attackers down hard and if one of them falls in battle the other one can U-turn out and save an intimidate for late game as a last ditch effort if the opponents last Pokemon is a physical attacker.

Intimidate is getting nerfed next gen without a doubt. It's even more prevalent than Prankster was pre nerf.

How are they going to nerf it tho? One anon suggested it not affecting Fighting types, which is a good start in my opinion, since most of them are phisical attackers, on the other hand, Primeape gets even worse than it already is
