We will now discuss the tale of a certain trainer's strange experience. They're said to have went to the Ruins of Alph with the mythical Pokemon Arceus.
Then suddenly, their vision went dark, and they seemingly teleported to another location. They were in the far away Sinjoh Ruins. In these ruins, said to be the fusion of Sinnoh and Johto culture, there was a holy stage built to worship Arcues, called the Mystri Stage. Legends say that when Arceus gets on the stage, time, space, and anti-matter mix and create a new world.

And so Arceus gives birth the god of time Dialga, the god of space Palkia, and the god of anti-matter Giratina.

Ultra Beasts are my favorite things from the series in all the 3DS games overall, so yeah.
Might as well add
We'll never clamber over the craters and pillars of Celesteela's homeworld, or see where they naturally land once launched
We'll never push through the sandy crystalline wastes of Pheromosa's world, seeing what the building-like structures are or what lies beyond the mountains
We'll never go on a conservation mission to save some of the endangered Guzzlords, rescuing suit man in the process or learning from the disaster of the power plant that destroyed their world
We'll never see Blacephalon and Stakataka's world at all

At least we saw Poipole's habitat recently.

Well yeah we'll never get to explore the towering nest or bleak canyons of Poipole's home, but there was at least some explanation of it that may be elaborated upon later in the show.
If not for that, I would have stuck it in the same category as Blacephalon and Stakataka.

I wanna know how the Unown are connected to Arceus, Ho-oh, Suicune(?) etc. I was also expecting Necrosma and Ho-oh to get a connection. The Gen 2 and 4 pokemon lore is so fascinating to me and yet it will never get any exposition. I mean, it got a lot already, Johto and SInnoh are probably the most fleshed out regions, but still.

Well have fun then anon, Idk what to tell you at this point. They gave me a look at where an important Poipole lived outside of the Megalopolis, so I'm cool with that, aside from never being able to visit somewhere like it in game.

I mean Ive already accepted that, but sometimes gamefreak makes a satisfying straightaway (Skyarrow Bridge which is still the best 3D moment in the franchise) so it wouldnt be the worst thing ever.

Yeah. Probably the best ones are Guzzlord's world, Pheromosa's world, Kartana's world, and Xurkitree's.
I liked them all the same, but Guzzlord's was distinctly strange for a Pokemon title.
