What kind of creature ideas would make for a cool signature boss mon for Gen 8?

I'd like to see something inspired by an ouroboros or basilisk, a formidable serpentine monster in general.

I think it depends on how they tweak the design. Really cool creatures could look silly in Pokemon's artstyle, but then who knows, maybe it'll still look enjoyable that way.

I think serpentine, or reptilian in general, is kind of overused at this point. Nothing wrong with another, but I'd like to see some more variety.
Though I'll admit, I can't think of a good example.

Would like to see a Dark/Fairy type for lovecraft inspired mons, but generally in terms of the signature Pokemon for the next villain, I just hope it's as intimidating and challenging as Ghetsis with Hydreigon.

I'd love for something otherwordly in general.
A good setup I'd love to see is an extremely old Pokemon from before history was even recorded that had a power so dangerous that the ancient civilization at the time binded and sealed it like ten miles beneath the earth in one of their temples. The evil team would then try (and succeed) at unearthing it and breaking the seal.
It's nothing new in terms of stories, it's been done to death, but not in Pokemon and it can be done really well.

Cute or meek to scary would be nice. Golisopod had that going for it but the ability was such a bummer. Ideally the next boss ace doesn't have such a crippling factor.

deep ones work the best for a pokemon but would likely lose all there flavor and end up just being weird fish people
cthulhu or his starspawn world work a legendary with a legion of psudo legendarys around him would be nice
but they would be to obvious in their reference
