It's amazing how I came to first love and then hate this game in just an hour after starting it recently.

First couple of hours were super fun and all that until suddenly:
>I read I can't evolve my starter and partner until I finish the main story, by that time I'll be done with the game
>Outlaw pokemon run away as soon as they see you, making it impossible to even attack them

These two things alone made the game unplayable for me and undid everything it did right so far, shame.
People like these shitty decisions?
