I would have been if the gameplay didn’t look like shit. Oh and the map is a lazy upscaled version of what came before. Or if they rebalanced the game with just 151 in mind so most things were viable. But Gamefreak are lazy pieces of shit so no I’m not hype and I won’t be buying. I would have bought a Switch if this looked good. Dissapointing.

I'll grant you it uses some good ideas like visible encounters and arguably co-op but the new soul of Pokémon is its worldbuilding and you'd be a fool to think the series is fine in one spot when other series of its caliber have always been subject to change and have been better for it.
