The games have a vocal opening theme (both Japanese and English versions) sung by Shihoko Hirata and vocal trainer and leader themes (also Japanese and English versions) sung by Psychic Lover. There's a few more vocal tracks including some by a couple of popular western artists but Im hesistant to reveal those. They include elite 4, champion and other special battle themes. The wild battle theme has no lyrics but has backing instruments that change depending on the type(s) of the wild Pokemon.
the games have a heavy focus on music on general being set in a region of viruosos. The game has another good team vs evil team where the good team has a pop sound and the evil team has a grunge sound.
