72 effective BP with Iron Fist.
It also gets Phantom Force, which has 90 BP.
Plus you're forgetting the big picture:
Most Psychic and Ghost types are physically frail, so a STAB Shadow Punch with Iron Fist coming from a 124 base Attack is going to do some serious damage if not an OHKO.

That's no the same at all. In Stunfisk's case, Limber wasn't completely useless prior to gen 6 as electric types could be paralyzed. But in Golurk's case, Shadow Punch has always been a never miss move, making it redundant with No Guard.

Dark, it's because the moves usually have useful secondary effects, like Dark Pulse's 20% flinch chance, Crunch's 20% Defense drop chance, or Darkest Lariat ignoring defense boosts.

Ghost moves are weak since all of them are 100% accurate. Kind of like the inverse of Rock type moves that rarely are accurate, but hit hard and a lot of things super effectively.
Dark also does the same, but trades off better coverage for better effects.
