Anime Serena is the worst female character in the history of Pokemon.
Basically, you can shit out a better female character with more personality than her.
It makes me sad since I actually liked the game Serena better, I actually thought she was an amazing character, but everyone seems fixated on the anime version...
This just depresses me... I don't want to hate her, but the more people shove anime Serena as the embodiment of perfection, the more I loathe her.
A woman should be more than fashion, boys, and pretty things.
A woman should be able to fight on her own, do gym battles, even beat the main character from time to time.
I feel like a rival for Ash would have had more potential romantic appeal than anything else.
That's just me, but... I hate how she is. It just depresses me.
