It has Run Away. Whenever its health gets low, you lose control of it and it starts running around like a madman so you can't heal it. This doesn't happen if you're controlling it, though.

Unfortunately in dungeons with anything that has lightningrod its usefulness diminishes rapidly and if there's anyone with Earth Power then we're boned.

Don't use skitty. I used her as my pc and wrecked Red Rescue, but they nerfed her in sky. She now has normalize, which means you won't be doing shit against dusknoir and the sableyes.

Oran Berries are plenty. Even then, if it's your partner it'll rarely take damage, and if it's your main Run Away doesn't trigger. Also, Run Away is a good thematic ability for the cowardly Explorers Partner if you're more concerned with roleplay than power.
