To set the stage let me get some undisputed facts out of the way
>Toads are merely a type of frog, the distinction is taught in kindergarten classes, not universities.
>Frogs are amphibians, dinosaurs are reptiles.
>Neither reptiles or amphibians are able to have external ears
>Amphibians start out life as tadpoles
>Dinosaurs universally have tails and straight hind legs, the latter being what usually nails an animal as a dinosaur from a scientific dig
>Most prehistoric reptiles aren't dinosaurs but assorted lizards from unrelated groups
>The modern definition of dinosaur does, inescapably, include all modern birds, as all attempts to remove birds from dinosauria result in Tyrannosaurus, velociraptor, and many other famous dinosaurs from also getting removed, as they are far younger than birds, who carry no unique traits aside from (formerly) powered flight (This was ended in 2015 with the discovery of flight-capable feathered dinosaurs)
>The flower rooted on venusaur's back is a raffelsia, not a venus fly trap
>There is no proof that the localization team had no communication with the Japanese creators, however there is no proof that they did.
>While there are reptiles with fangs, dinosaurs did not have fangs, sharp teeth yes, but no dinosaur has ever been discovered with distinct pairs of fangs.
>Frogs are prehistoric, but quite a bit younger than dinosaurs, appearing at the beginning of the jurassic
>The only dinosaurs with the famous movie-like "trunk" legs are the sauropods, the long-necked dinosaurs, and that's their front legs specifically. From triceratops to compsognathus the overwhelming majority of dinosaurs have large defined toes like a bird.
>Dinosaurs had feathers, but it's not known how many dinosaurs had them, and the only dinosaurs who absolutely had them are carnivores ranging downwards from 2 tons, herbivorous dinosaurs are known to exist but still remain a mystery.
