This is an RPG not a fighting game the animations need to be generalized so occasionally they fire from odd places. It kind of adds to the charm of an RPG that things aren't 100% realistic

Dumbass, games like Stadium had far better animations nearly 20 YEARS AGO. GF and its shills are fucking pathetic. Had actual kicking animation for double kick instead of a little idiotic nudge/hop and had water shooting from Blastoise's actual cannons. GF is a disgrace.

Doesn't even have to be every damn mon. But one of their shilled Kanto starters ought to be given proper attention. Hell, LGPE only includes the original 151 anyway, so they might as well have at least given them all better animations - or at minimum fully evolved ones and/or shillmons.

They don't need to do it for every attack for every Pokemon, something like a generic arm attack animation, a generic leg attack animation, a generic tackle animation would cover all the physical moves once effects are applied. Then elemental attacks just need to be sourced from logical places with animations that fit the attack.

Well if you think for a second you realize that LGPE uses the same engine as other pokemon games and if they make a decision like that they'll be stuck with it for future games you know that right? They don't want to deal with the fucking hassle that would happen if they get stuck with overly personalized moves so they just let them keep the same moves.

You bitching and moaning about "moves becoming too personal" has already been realized in the Alola Games, even moreso with Z-Moves because some Pokemon SPECIFICALLY have Z-Moves that only THEY can use.

You'd think that them using Blastoise's attacks in their advertising, they'd take extra care in its animations, or notice that its animations are off and fix it.

But this is GameFreak we're talking about, so all you get is lazy shit that they literally didn't even touch :^)
