Lets Go's target audience has to be literal single celled organisms right?
Pokemon is a childrens entry level RPG, do we really need to strip out mechanics to make it simpler for people?
What are people finding hard about modern Pokemon?

The target audience is children aged 20 to 25 who never stopped playing Pokemon GO.
They can't play normal pokemon drunk and high with "friends". GO is just braindead enough for them to play it in their spare time: walking to get beer, or to some social event. Now that they have GO on console, with easy mode co-op, they can take all the drugs they want and still stomp through the game with no challenge at all and no risk of failure.

I honestly have to say, this has been true for a long time. Why GF feels they need to cut parts of it to make it more accessible is fucking beyond me.
