Anyway, the Chinese Riddler apparently said that the trademarks do correlate with megas, and added Mr. Mime to the list.
I don’t really believe it, but it might make some fun discussion.

This would be the first time they have to patch an older game if they did. They can't keep saying the game isn't for everyone and then not allow US/UM to not have the new shit for existing species.

We already know it's bullshit anyway but it will be demonstrable bullshit if they're trying to say this is a separate thing.

If they exist and they play keep away with them then they are demanding everyone buy them even people who aren't their supposed target audience.

It's far more likely Koga will get Weezing and Team Rocket will either reuse it or just never get Megas. They might just decide Charizard and Venusaur suit Blaine and Erika enough to give them those. Even the TCG had Erika's Venusaur and Blaine's Charizard, but no Misty's Blastoise.

Oh yeah, now that I think about it, assuming we do get new megas we wouldn't have any idea of their actual abilities until Gen 8.
I honestly don't think we will get them, since in the gameplay we only see them being used in the shitty online battles. I can imagine them being "postgame" only.
