Even if you don't buy LGPE, millions of parents and normalfags who don't give a shit about the franchise will, and they outnumber you. I genuinely doubt these games will be as successful as you faggots think. If not for the controversial direction of the game, it will be still be in the shadow of smash ultimate, pre and post release

Yep. And I've gotten over it. Pokémon is effectively nothing to me until Bank compatibility comes and Gen 8 plays like a traditional Pokémon game. I've become apathetic towards the series' future releases. Let's Go isn't a game for me, so I'm not gonna buy it. If they continue down the GO road, I won't buy Pokémon anymore, and that's okay. Because I still have Animal Crossing and Smash Bros., and I'll always have the memories I formed with the franchise. I'll miss bringing my Pokémon to the newest platform, but at the end of the day, I'll still be having fun, just with other things.

And hey, if they decide to make the games like they used to, then it'd make me an easy sell haha

I'm really astounded that nobody seems to have picked up the hint that there was a huge dropoff of Pokemon players after generation 1. Just because you've been playing Pokemon for 20+ years doesn't mean everyone else has been too.

The whole reason Pokemon GO was so successful was that it gave people an easy, convenient, fun, and FREE way of getting back into Pokemon. People are excited for LGPE too, and I've seen a number of people considering getting a Switch for it.
