Good day everyone. Recently there has been rumours of new Mega Pokemon in the game. This is true. Basically every major trainer, gift pokemom and a few random Pokemom in the game have new Mega Pokemon. I shall list them all below -

- Jessie and James will both have a Mega Arbok and Weezing later in the game
- Geovani will have a Mega Persian in his last encounter (I won't spoil for new players but anyone who has played Yellow will know this encounter)
- The Elite 4 will have Mega Pokemon. Lorelei will have a Mega Jynx, Burno a Mega Machamp, Agatha a Mega Genger, and Lance a Mega Dragonite. (This could be first encounter or rematch, I don't know)
- Gym Leaders will also have Mega Pokemon in what appears to be rematches, Brook a Mega Golem, Misty a Mega Starmie, LT Surge a Mega Raichu, Erika a Mega Venusaur, Koga a Mega Weezing, Sabrina a Mega Alakazam and Blaine a Mega Charizard (Y)
- At some point in the game. The player will recieve a Hitmon pokemon as a gift. Depends on which one you decide on, that pokemon will be holding a Mega Stone.
- Your Rivals starter does evolve, he will have a Mega Raichu or a Mega Jolt, Vap or Flar 'eon' (I do not know under what conditions which one is picked)
- Mr Mine is also a gift Pokemon that has a Mega (although I don't know if the pokemon is holding a Mega Stone when recieved)
- The Gen 1 starter pokemon will be received in a very similar way to Yellow. But I do not know how the player obtains their Mega Stones, same goes for most other Pokemon existing and new.
- Other existing Gen 1 Mega Pokemon like Gyrados, Kangaskhan, Aerodactyl, Pinsir and Mewtwo are also in the game.
