the delta episode was much appriciated even though you unfortunately skip biking up the tower.
The dragon people were pretty cool especially Zinnia but it all took a backseat to other dimensions and megas, I think this is why the story didn't work so well.
riding rayquaza to stop a meteor and it turning out to be deoxys was amazing, nothing had been done like that at the time and deoxys wasn't spoiled for me so it was a great surprise as well as one of the the toughest battles in this game.
I would say the postgame is pretty good because the region is fleshed out. battling and discovering bases, berry harvesting, contests, it was all pretty great and Hoenn felt lived in, I liked it more than the usual battle (blank) but of course I still would have appreciated one
