Who else has basically given up on pokemon, and just checks in occasionally to see if there's word on Gen 8?

All my hype is dead, I'll probably just stay in touch to see the new pokemon designs.

I've given up on LGPE, I thought maybe a Kanto remastering could be interesting if they did it right but it's not a remaster, just the same shit we've gotten over and over again.

If Gen 8 looks like dog shit too I probably won't be support Pokemon from that point on.
Hopefully Game Freak gets off their asses and starts moving forward like the other Nintendo big-wig franchises seem to be doing on the Switch.

SM left a lot to be desired and none if it was fixed in USUM so gen 7 as a whole took the wind out of my sails and LGPE crashed the entire boat. Three back to back disappointing products and I can't say I have any faith moving forward.

I want to say the characters designers are still top tier but seeing the designs in LGPE so far I'm unimpressed
