I used a Breloom on my first playthrough of Emerald back in the day, without even knowing that it could learn spore (you have to cancel Shroomish's evolution a couple of times to learn it). Been my bro ever since.
My favorite Breloom set nowadays is an anti-lead . Bullet Seed, Mach Punch, Rock Tomb, and Spore with a focus sash and max attack can 1v1 nearly any Pokemon in the game. She almost always gets things off to a good start.
