Gen 5 was the easiest to use. You could just leave it on the bottom screen while you play the game, it was so much nicer than having to constantly tap the bottom screen or use it multiple times from the bag to find an item

Gonna trigger the thread, but LGPE has the best itemfinder by far. Pikachu and Eevee will react and shake their tails when hidden items are nearby, and on top that, your other following Pokémon also randomly finding items in bushes.

A billion times better than random radars and retard antennae.

It was also slow as fuck compared to the gen 6 variant. Like the only reason it's better than anything else is because the Itemfinder was really fucking shit in gens 1-4.

The Pikachu/Eevee Itemfinder works exactly the same as the OR/AS one. You still have to find it yourself. I DID say I would trigger /vp/ though, so I can't say I am surprised about your post.
