No matter what side you're on, we all want SOME new pokemon character in smash, be it decidueye, incineroar, gardevoir, gothitelle, (RIP Mimikyu), etc

Big casual here. I want a Snorlax and I want him to be big. Í'd like to see a baseball cap wearing Snorlax on the big screen in my lifetime. Belly drum, rest, snore, FIT punch, body slam. There's too many alien zoomers in Smash for myself to like the idea of the starter 3vos, and too many shrimp pokemon already appeared, we need a fatass.

Im rootin for my boy Incineroar, as even though I wouldnt mind decidueye in smash, I think Incineroar would add more diversity to the character base, as we dont need another archer, but incineroar would fill the wrestler archetype, as well as a "bad guy" to fill the franchise.

Movset:
Neutral B: Flamethrower (shoots a fireball from its belt like Ryu's hadoken)

Side B: Darkest Lariat (spins around, and clotheslines grounded opponents, tripping them, Soft spikes aerial opponents)

Down B: Knock off (slams the ground, and if an opponent is close enough, incineroar will grab and swing them towards what ever stage edge is closer)

Up B: Double Team (A doppleganger Incineroar grabs it by the arms and flings it upwards)

Brutal Swing, Outrage, Cross Chop, and Stomping Tantrum as smash attacks

Throat chop, Fake out, U-Turn, Acrobatics as aerials, movements each based on wrestling moves

Malicious Moonsault Final smash

Definitely a grapple character, strong throws based on wrestling moves such as the Frankensteiner, Back Breaker, Full Nelson, People's Elbow, etc. Can carry like DK

This. But Incineroar is a delusional pick anyway. It's on the same level as Ashley, Bandana Dee, Geno, Skull Kid and Isaac. People think because they made an exception with K. Rool and brought him back from being irrelevant because he is literally the only DK villain worth putting in that literal who's, base enemies wearing a fucking hat, irrelevant side character from fucking 20 years ago, villain that is popular enough to be in smash as a trophy but not popular enough to be a fighter, another fucking swordsman that is also the MC of a dead franchise at that and unpopular ugly Pokemon are suddenly gonna be in. Pretty content with the roster overall, I would like to see the end of the starterwars though and I think Smash is the final nail in the coffin as to who "wins".
In terms of straight up likelyhood
Rowlet > Lycanroc > Decidueye > Incineraor > the rest

I genuinely feel like Decidueye brings more to Smash as a fighter, K. Rool being shown to use wrestling moves combined with the fact that we have several grapplers already really makes Incineroar feel redundant. Sakurai chooses Pokemon based off of design first and foremost and Rock Dog who controls the Earth and Archer Owl who can pin shadows both sound way more enticing than "grappler but evil".
I think the ideal situation is getting both the Cat and the Owl though, it's not like Pokemon isn't popular enough and it'd be hype as shit to continue the starterwars into Smash with both the Owl and the Bara being the winners.

If someone using a wrestler move lowers Incineroar’s chance, anyone using an arrow should lower Decidueye’s, same with grabs for Incineroar and projectile for Decidueye.
Lycanroc is the only one without a unique underrepresented element.
And we all know GF is the one pushing Pokémon in Smash so the choice isn’t fully in Sakurai’s hands

How many arrow moves can pin though? How many fighters in Smash share Decidueye's body type? How many characters have their moveset revolve around archery and not just one move out of like two dozen? Decidueye has the most going for it by far compared to Incini.

It has one bow move though, how many times are they going to reuse Spirit Shackle in one moveset? They couldn’t build an archery moveset for Pit when majority of the time he uses nothing but a bow.

Incineroar has far more going for it that Decidueye. More move potential, is a character type we haven't seen fully embraced at this point in smash as a grappler, and is far more unique than a generic archer.

The only reason Pit has a substantial moveset at all is because in Brawl they made up the thing about his bow splitting into swords. They don't have that option with Decidueye. since its bow is literally just its hoodie string and wing.

Incineroar:
Neutral B: Roar - Incineroar roars loudly, turning opponents, and even projectiles around! (similar to Mario's cape but with Jigglypuff's Sing range)
Side B: Fire Fang - Charge move - Incineroar launches forward and viciously bites any opponent it comes in contact with. The more he charges the move, the further he launches

ZSS is a fighter who relies on kicks. Her stun gun is used to keep someone still so she can follow up with a close range melee attack. Decidieye would be the polar opposite of this, keeping the opponent stunned at a distance so he can get a charged sweetspot arrow or something similar. A character who is extremely deadly when halfway across the stage from the oppoent, but extremely weak when in boxing distance is an archetype only used by Duck Hunt and maybe Villager, both of which are characters who have no particular theme to them.

And all the FE swordfighters? And Fox and Falco? and, shit a huge number of characters. The point I was trying to make is that there is not a bigass fucking bird in the roster, the closest we have is Ridely and he's more a dragon than anything, meanwhile there are several big humanoid grappler types which is exactly what Incineraor is.

Then it's a good thing Decidueye is also a ghost type on top of having giant talons. Here's a list of moves that would all work in Smash.
>Leaf Blade
>Spirit Shackle
>Omnious Wind
>Brave Bird
>Phantom Force
>Giga Drain

We have like 6 grapplers. K. Room specifically is incorporating various wrestling styles in his own moveset, on top of wrestling throws he also has this sumo stomp. Incineroar is straight up redundant after DK, Bowser, Falcon, Ganon and now K. Rool, who even has the same "heel" personality Incineroar would have because he's actually a villain.

Not him but having a grab attack doesn’t make you a grappler, K. I really appreciate that you came up with unique ways to bring together Primarina's two main gimmicks - its voice and water balloons - and how they could interact with each other. Individually they are pretty unique and fun abilities, but bringing them together is what makes Primarina so interesting as a potential fighter, in my opinion.
The idea of bubbles acting like springs is particularly great and fun: using bubbles for entertaining purposes and to distract the opponents is what the line is known to do, after all. I like the idea through and through!

Roar, being an entertainer, lives and dies by the crowd. Going for riskier tech and keeping up the aggression gets the crowd going and when maxed allows any standard or command grab to become a high-stakes cinematic wrestling finisher. Inversely though, turtling or jobbing turns the crowd against him, leading to lower damage on moves, increased knockback, and longer shield breaks.

-B: Throat Chop. Chargeable and upon impact the opponent can't use their own Standard Special for a short period.
-Side-B: Darkest Lariat. More of a standard lariat, Roar steps back as a soft dodge before charging forward and clotheslining the foe, sending them behind him.
-Down-B: Low Sweep. A surprisingly fast sweep to the legs that has a high chance of tripping the target. If it does so, the move can be converted into a Shining Wizard for big damage. If used in air, it becomes an axe kick with decent spiking potential.
-Up-B: Blast Burn. A large explosion erupts from Roar's belt, the backdraft launching him high but with little horizontal movement so it has to be committed to. If used on the ground, it acts as a Body Explosion but leaves Roar prone as it recharges for a second or two

Grab: Roar grabs the opponent by the head and either lifts and dangles them for smaller characters or uses a Karakusa style grab on larger fighters
Pummel: Fire Fang. Akin to the Gen 6/7 animation for biting moves, Roar's belt forms a pair of jaws to gnash at the opponent

Back Throw: German Suplex -> Alex's Hyper Bomb
Forward Throw: Facebuster -> Canadian Destroyer
Up Throw: Airplane Spin -> Izuna Drop
Down Throw: DDT -> Kinniku Buster
