The side games are only made with a handful of people though, I'd note. They come up with an idea, work out a general overview and have it looked over, then if it gets approved they get a small staff to produce it with.
Realistically, HarmoKnight was legitimately a decent game that should've been a series. Technically it was great - best rhythm game I've ever played just for the way it was done - it just needed more to do.
Also, Giga Wrecker was a decent game too. I would love a port of Giga Wrecker and a HarmoKnight 2 for Switch. At this point I'd even take them even in lieu of Pokémon considering the trash heaps they're about to unleash.
