I am sick and tired of people saying Platinum added less than USUM or was lazier than USUM. This shit ends now. Sure, maybe Platinum was lazy, but don't even compare it to USUM
Platinum added: Battle Frontier, distortion world, expanded team galactic storyline, new locations and sidequests (including unique locations for legendaries instead of lazily being thrown in portals), no new species but still had 7 new forms, 3 wifi multiplayer minigames, challenging gym leader rematches, every area got a graphical update instead of USUM merely adding flowers to route 1 and not changing a single detail past that, and lots of little things.
You see how Platinum's changes also serve to fix issues with DP, drastically increase replayability, while Ultra Sun's only made the tutorials/handhholding from SM worse, they don't increase replay value at all because that would take more effort, and USUM had the nerve to split it's meager content into 2 versions
