So the Special Attack stat doesn't exist in the anime, right?

Swords Dance has been used multiple times in the anime, but Nasty Plot and Calm Mind haven't been used once. Quiver Dance has only been used for a performance and not in battle. And you've got stuff like Ash's Boldore's most powerful move being Flash Cannon.

The anime does not give a single fuck about the logic of the games, and often makes up its own bullshit asspulls.

The Roggenrola line should've had higher Special Attack than Attack in the first place, Gigalith's dex entries talk about it firing balls of light that can blow up mountains and shit.

I think it's been mentioned once or twice, but yeah, for the most part they don't really bother differentiating between "Attack" and "Special Attack".

The anime is what real-life Pokemon battles would be like, minus stuff like Thunder Armor
