Sup boys, i'm fairly a newfag to playing the games, anyways, i played FRLG and HGSS, should i play the original ones as well or am i good with the remakes?

you're good with the remakes. the originals will seem slow and tedious in comparison. you don't even get running shows int he first two gens. i'd focus your energies instead on tackling hoeen or sinnoh.

you're pretty much good. IMO the only reason to play the original ones is the nostalgia.

A lot of the gameplay is really streamlined by gen 3/4 with better movepools, physical/special split, and abilities. Going back can be a little frustrating at times but challenging if you like the slower paced "good ol' days".

If you're a completionist with some time on your hands, by all means play them, just know they'll feel like more of a grind
