i don't see why people hate gen 5. true it was gamefrekas first attempt at a story focused game, and the exclusion of he old pokemon did mean some of the unovian pokemon are rehashes, but the story isn't nearly as obnoxious as newer ones and it was still fun to play imo. I really appreciated all the small things they did with the music. The low energy hp music made the beeps less obnoxious, and the gym leader's last pokemon music really got me pumped up (though i'd prefer if that track overrides the low health music). I also loved how each gym had it's own remix of the gym music. It really made each gym stand out.

The majority of people on vp did. It's consistently first or second in favorite gen polls. It's just a small number of shitters that are really loud in their hatered of gen 5 that makes it seem like a lot of people don't like it

This, plus most character in Gen 5 are much more memorable than what we got in the new games or even older games.
Plus Hilbert and Hilda are the peak of Pokemon Protagonists, the nips really loves these two.

The remake mons are so largely awful too. We got some nice ones but fuck most of them are just bad.
The unique/not direct knock-offs though are largely alright to good.

That's the kind of shit that gives away you never played or liked gen 5, paid shill. You only use it as a tool to attack the other parts of the franchise and new games as they come. At least don't repost posts you already wrote on other sites like redit next time you raid here tomorrow.

It does allright in polls but usually like 4th place. Gen 7, 3 and sometimes 2 are the ones I always see at first or second as they are the most popular ones here majority-wise.
