>>36305231No. Just because a Pokemon is black doesn't mean it should be Dark-type. Luxray has none of the aggressive, brutal, or violent characteristics of actual Dark-types.
>>36305242Not really. Dark was made to nerf Psychic and Ghost, and it serves as a really good offensive type. I also like how Dark-types have a theme associated with unfairness; preventing opponents from using their full potential when they are hit by one. Taunt prevents opposing Pokemon from using status moves, Foul Play uses their own attack against them, Flatter confuses the foe while not providing an attack boost like Swagger would, Knock Off removes their items, Parting Shot reduces their offensive stats and allows the user to switch out, Beat Up calculates damage based on the attack stats of every Pokemon you have left, Embargo disables held items, Switcheroo switches held items, Sucker Punch deals damage before the opponent can in many cases, Quash forces a target to go last, Thief steals held items, Topsy-Turvy reverses stat boosts and drops, Throat Chop prevents sound moves, Torment prevents the opponent from using the same move twice in a row, Snatch steals the effects of a recovery or stat-boosting move from the opponent, Pursuit punishes switch-outs, Punishment punishes stat boosting, etc.
>>36305278I agree with Arbok, because it actually is a vicious Pokemon.
Silver dex entry: With a very vengeful nature, it won't give up the chase, no matter how far, once it targets its prey.
Crystal dex entry: To intimidate foes, it spreads its chest wide and makes eerie sounds by expelling air from its mouth.
UM entry: After stunning its opponents with the pattern on its stomach, it quickly wraps them up in its body and waits for them to stop moving.
>>36305312Don't let the anime fool you. None of Ursaring's dex entries mention it being overly aggressive, vicious, brutal, or sadistic. It acts like a normal bear.
