>>36306108No. I like the concept of Mega Evolutions bringing vitality and life back into otherwise stagnant Pokemon. If somebody told me more than 5 years ago that Mawile, Kangaskhan, Venusaur, Beedrill, Pidgeot, etc. would have powerful Megas, I wouldn't believe them, but they turned out to be truly powerful. Most Megas are straight upgrades of the original forms, although a few were made worse such as Mega Garchomp (although Mega Garchomp still has some use on sand teams). I also like how a Pokemon's design can be upgraded/improved when it Mega Evolves.
The real problem came when many of the already overpowered Pokemon got Mega Evolutions, which outshadowed the weak/less used mons when they got their Megas.
