Not sure what people were expecting with these games graphically. All of you probably saw the footage from the arcade games and GO. You should know The Pokemon Company isn't going for a realistic look with 4k graphics or some shit like that. Pokemon always had this cartoony look and they're clearly maintaining it here.

They didn't even bother with the constant flying/gliding animation which is truly disappointing. For instance: Charizard constantly flying looks retarded, its grounded Amie/Refresh idle animation looks way better.

they should bring back the black outlines. The models look plastic-y without them, and I doubt gamefreak would ever make games where they would render fur/scales/hair onto pokemon

Except for the fact that they're graphic fagging 3D shit instead of staying 2D, the games look fine. It's everything else about them that is the problem.
