Delta and Grey would've been likely to be real at some point but they changed it for various reasons.

The others are probably just trademark filler just so that nobody tries to claim the names, just in case if they use the names for future titles.

That Grey wouldn't be the same as a hypothetical Gen V game. A Gen V Pokemon Grey would use the English word for grey (グレイ) like Black and White use. The trademark uses a one kanji shortening for the Japanese word for grey (灰色), which makes it similar to the Japanese names for RGB and GS.

According to Masuda they were always going to be called BW2, but they were originally going to be third versions split in two like USUM instead of sequels. Iwata told them to fuck off and do something new if it's still on the DS.

Probably both, because frankly if it was just trademark squatting, there’s a damn lot of other colors/gems/etc that aren’t covered.

Likely all trademarked names are names that even have a 2% chance if being considered.
